Geboren in Rumänien, absolvierte Florina Ilie ihr Studium an der Nationalen Musikuniversität Bukarest und setzte ihre Ausbildung an der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien fort. Die Sopranistin hat zahlreiche erste Preise bei nationalen Gesangswettbewerben in Rumänien gewonnen (Paul Constantinescu, Ionel Perlea, Sabin Dragoi, Ada Burlui) und erhielt den Sonderpreis beim Internationalen Wettbewerb Otto Edelmann in Wien.
Ihr Debüt gab sie im Alter von 17 Jahren an der Nationaloper in Bukarest und trat seitdem an renommierten Opernhäusern auf, darunter die Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole, Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur und Opéra de Toulon.
In den Spielzeiten 2018-2020 war sie Mitglied des Opernstudios an der Oper Frankfurt. Dort verkörperte sie Rollen wie die Erste Waldelfe in "Rusalka", die Italienische Sängerin in "Capriccio", Gilda in "Rigoletto". Gastspiele führten sie ans Staatstheater Darmstadt, wo sie als Najade in "Ariadne auf Naxos" und als Antonia in "Les contes d’Hoffmann" auftrat.
Von 2020 bis 2022 gehörte sie dem Ensemble der Oper Frankfurt an. Ihre vielfältigen Rollen umfassten Norina in "Don Pasquale", Susanna in "Le nozze di Figaro", Adina in "L’elisir d’amore", Ninetta in "La gazza ladra", Schwester Constance in "Dialogues des Carmélites", Lauretta in "Gianni Schicchi", Sophie in "Werther" und Valencienne in "Die lustige Witwe".
In der Saison 2022-2023 gab sie ihr Debüt an Häusern wie dem Theater St. Gallen, wo sie die Rolle der Léontine in "L’amant anonyme" übernahm, dem Opéra d’Avignon, wo sie als Fiorilla in "Il turco in Italia"

Born in Romania, Florina Ilie completed her studies at the National Music University of Bucharest and continued her education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. The soprano has won numerous first prizes at national singing competitions in Romania (Paul Constantinescu, Ionel Perlea, Sabin Dragoi, Ada Burlui) and was awarded the special prize at the Otto Edelmann International Competition in Vienna.
She made her debut at the age of 17 at the National Opera in Bucharest and has since performed at prestigious opera houses including Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole, Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur, and Opéra de Toulon.
During the 2018-2020 seasons, she was a member of the Opera Studio at Oper Frankfurt. There, she portrayed roles such as the First Wood Nymph in "Rusalka," the Italian Singer in "Capriccio," and Gilda in "Rigoletto." She also appeared as Najade in "Ariadne auf Naxos" and Antonia in "Les contes d’Hoffmann" at the State Theatre Darmstadt as a guest performer.
From 2020 to 2022, she was a member of the ensemble at Oper Frankfurt.
